I have ordered coffee beans multiple times from Roaring Stag and tried a good few of them now, my favorites are the Ben Macdui, traditional French and the Braveheart, highly recommended if you like darker roasts. I have also tried a couple of the chocolate bars, although they were really nice perhaps a bit too expensive to include as a regular extra.

I do sample other roasters but always come back to Roaring Stag on taste and value. Favourites are the Kenyan Blue Mountain and Colombian Excelsio. Keep up the great work.

Excellent Dark Roast tastes

I got given a pack of Roaring Stag coffee as a present and I've never looked back; it's now my default coffee at work. What I really like about it is the variety of dark roasts. Lots of roasters have one dark roast but Roaring Stag have a few and that keeps my tastebuds intrigued; I'm constantly debating if my favourite is Dark Lochnagar, Braveheart or French Roast! More research is needed!

As always, excellent coffee from RS. Grade 1 beans, virtually no shards/fragments and the grind remains consistent, making dialling in espresso straightforward. As well as offering on-trend light floral roasts, RS haven't forgotten how to produce a pre-millenial, dark, oily second crack roast allowing correct milk-pairing for caffe lattes and flat whites to be made the way they should be (and still are in Italy, Australia and NZ). And at a very competitive price. Well done RS !

Really good service and product. Lovely to see a coffee company in the Scottish Highlands as I live there. I especially like the 4 for deal as it enables me (and my family) to try different coffees at a reasonable price. The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is that I find that the espresso (very fine) grind is a bit too fine for our machine. However that may be our problem and not theirs. Next time I will order the fine grind instead which is recommended for an Aeropress. So maybe 4 1/2 stars. I also think the Swiss water decaf is the best decaf I have ever had. So highly recommend this company.
